What is Ultherapy?
Ultherapy is a non-invasive treatment to address the effects that gravity and aging have on your skin. The ultrasound treatment uses your body’s own healing mechanisms to lift the skin and smooth visible lines and wrinkles.
How does Ultherapy work?
The ultrasound technology employed by Ultherapy penetrates deep beneath the skin to boost your own natural collagen production. Collagen is the protein that’s a major contributor to skin strength and elasticity. As you get older, your natural production of collagen declines. How is Ultherapy unique?

Unlike lasers, Ultherapy uses sound energy that bypasses the surface of the skin to reach depths where collagen can restore skin firmness and tone. Lasers use light energy and typically only treat the superficial layers of skin, so they don’t provide the same lifting results. Do I need to schedule downtime following Ultherapy treatments?
Ultherapy is noninvasive, so you don’t have to schedule time for healing and recovery. You can go right back to your regular daily activities following a 60-90 minute session. You may experience some redness immediately after a treatment session, but this usually resolves within a few hours.
When will I see the results from the Ultherapy treatment?
You often observe an immediate glow following the ultrasound treatment, but optimal results appear within two to three months as your body needs time to regenerate collagen. Every person responds differently to Ultherapy and your natural aging process dictates how long it takes for you to see noticeable changes.
