Advanced Bleaching / Fade Cream

This cream has several key ingredients that work together to “bleach” or lighten dark spots.

This is a cosmetic product that is not covered by insurance.

Directions

Use it twice daily for only 2 continuous months.

Key Ingredients

  • Retinoic Acid 0.05% - Retinoic Acid is commonly used for acne and reduction of fine lines and wrinkles.  When used with Hydroquinone, it can improve the effectiveness of fading dark spots.
  • Hydroquinone 6%  - Hydroquinone is a depigmenting agent that gradually bleaches heavily pigmented areas of skin. Hydroquinone prevents the formation of melanin, the pigment that causes skin to darken.  Continual sun exposure may cause lightened skin to darken. This compounded formulation is a higher concentration than the usual 4% prescription Hydroquinone.
  • Kojic Acid 3% - Kojic Acid is an organic compound produced from several species of fungi that is used as a skin lightening and bleaching agent that prevents the formation of melanin. Decreased production of melanin lightens skin tone and fades dark spots.
  • Hydrocortisone 1% - Hydrocortisone is a low strength topical steroid that can prevent skin irritation.  When used with hydroquinone and retinoic acid it has been shown to improve the efficacy of lightening brown spots.  It can also be used to treat itching, redness, and skin inflammation.
