Qbrexza

What is Qbrexza?

Qbrexza (glycopyrronium) cloth towelette is a prescription anticholinergic medicine that is used on the skin to treat excessive underarm sweating in adults and is FDA approved for children 9 years and older.

How does Qbrexza work?

Glycopyrronium, the main active ingredient of Qbrexza is a competitive inhibitor of acetylcholine receptors that are located on certain peripheral tissues, including sweat glands. Qbrexza blocks theses “sweat signals” and reduces excessive sweating.

How to use QBREXZA?

1.    Apply Qbrexza to clean, DRY skin underarms ONE TIME, in one direction using 1 CLOTH FOR BOTH ARMS.
2.    Repeat every 24 hours. Best to apply at night and shower/shave in morning.
3.    Throw cloth away right after use and immediately WASH YOUR HANDS with soap and water!
4.    DO NOT touch your eyes without washing your hands after use.
5.    If eyes come in contact with Qbrexza, this may cause temporary dilation of pupils and blurred vision.
6.    Keep used cloths away from pets or small children.
7.    DO NOT apply Qbrexza to broken skin.
8.    For a video: www.qbrexza.com/applying-qbrexza
9.    Deodorant can be used post treatment only after Qbrexza dries completely.

Qbrexza is contraindicated in patients with glaucoma, paralytic ileus, unstable cardiovascular status in acute hemorrhage, severe ulcerative colitis, toxic megacolon, myasthenia gravis, Sjogren’s syndrome.

Qbrexza should be used with caution in patients who have history of urinary retention.

Tell your provider if you are taking an anticholinergic medication or planning pregnancy before using Qbrexza.
