TREATMENT
Radiesse® treatments take about 30 minutes. A topical anesthetic may be used prior to injection. Radiesse® is injected directly under the wrinkle using a tiny needle. Because Radiesse® is not absorbed by the body, there is no need to “overfill.”
You can resume your normal activities immediately after treatment. Slight discomfort after the procedure can be controlled with ice. There is mild swelling, which disappears in 24 to 36 hours. Minimal bruising may occur but can be covered with makeup.
RESULTS
The results of Radiesse® are immediate and last 12 to 18 months, with the best results seen at 4 weeks. The number of treatments depends on the area to be treated and the desired results. One treatment is usually sufficient and long-lasting.
