ACE INHIBITORS 
Common Adverse Reactions: 
  • A: Angioedema (swelling under the skin, commonly in the eyelids, lips, tongue, or throat) 
  • C: Cough 
  • E: Extra potassium (feeling weak or tired, nausea, muscle pains and cramps, trouble breathing, unusual heartbeat, chest pains) 
Adverse reactions associated with taking ACE inhibitors are more common in individuals who are black or hispanic.
