Dr. Joy Kunishge is a board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon providing care to patients in the Pittsburgh area at Zitelli & Brodland, Skin Cancer Center

Dr. Kunishige has authored over 25 articles and book chapters on skin cancer, lasers, and cutaneous lymphoma. Her melanoma research was nominated for the Tromovitch Award of the American College of Mohs Surgery.  

Dr. Kunishge is the author of New Beauty Magazine's first book: Beautiful Skin Revealed.

Dr. Kunishige graduated from the University of Florida in Gainesville where she also completed medical school in 2003. She did research and dermatology residency at MD Anderson Cancer Center and the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston.
 
Dr. Kunishige then completed a one year Mohs Surgery, Cutaneous Oncology, and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship in 2009 under the direction of Drs. John Zitelli and David Brodland. The training is officially approved by the American College of Mohs Surgery and the AMAs Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education.
