Medical Expertise of Dr. Mitchell Ross, MD

Dr. Ross practices all aspects of interventional and non-invasive cardiology and has a special interest in peripheral vascular disease and chronic venous disease. Dr Ross performs Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacements (TAVR), as well as the office based “Venefit” ablation procedure to treat vein disease.  

About Dr. Mitchell Ross, MD

Mitchell Ross, MD is a board-certified Phoenix cardiologist providing care to patients at the Arizona Cardiology Group.

Dr. Ross is designated as a designated Fellow of both the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI) and holds additional certification as a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI). He has been recognized as one of Phoenix Magazine's TOP DOCs.

Dr. Ross is involved in clinical research in both the hospital and outpatient settings, and was a local Principal Investigator for the PREMIUM migraine trial, studying the percutaneous closure of patent foramen ovale (PFO) of the heart to prevent migraine headaches.

Dr. Ross received his undergraduate degree from Yale College and his MD from Harvard Medical School. After completing internship and residency at the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, he completed fellowship in cardiology and interventional cardiology at the University of Pennsylvania.
