Dr. Swarna received a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, as well as completed an internship in internal medicine at J.J.M. Medical College in India. He completed a second internship in internal medicine at Wayne State University in Michigan. Dr. Swarna also completed a residency in internal medicine, as well as a Fellowship in clinical cardiac electrophysiology and pacing at Baylor College of Medicine. He completed a Fellowship in electrophysiology at Philadelphia Heart Institute in Pennsylvania. .
