Ashley grew up in Central Texas where she was Valedictorian of her class at Mart High School before attending Texas A&M University in College Station. At Texas A&M, she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition Sciences. While there, she also received the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Dean’s List Honor Roll award and was named an Aggie Research Scholar for her participation in scientific research at Texas A&M. Ashley earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree at Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati, Ohio.
