Medical Expertise of Dr. Eric Hochman, MD

Dr. Hochman is board-certified in internal medicine, pediatrics and rheumatology. As an Internist, he has expertise treatting common adult conditions, such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and diabetes. His specialized training as a rheumatologist  provides him expertise treating musculoskeletal diseases such as all forms of arthritis, gout, and autoimmune diseases.

Dr. Hochman is also certified by the International Society of Clinical Densitometry to perform and interpret Dexa scans to evaluate bone density.

Eric Hochman, MD is a board-certified internist, pediatrician and rheumatologist providing care to patients in the Naples, Florida area at Gulfshore Concierge Medicine where he is the founding physician.

Dr. Hochman has been named a Castle Connolly “Top Doc” by Gulfshore Life magazine and was a Patients’ Choice Award winner from 2008 to 2015. He was also awarded the Most Compassionate Provider Award and On-Time Physician Award.

Dr. Hochman graduated from Tulane University in the Honors program Cum Laude with Phi Beta Kappa distinction. He then received his medical degree (MD) from the Ohio State University Medical School where he earned membership into the medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA). In 2001, he completed a dual residency program in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the Ohio State University.

Dr. Hochman then completed his Rheumatology Fellowship in 2004 at Washington University in St. Louis.
