Medical Expertise of Dr. Jack Schim, MD

Dr. Schim specializes in the treatment of headache and serves as Co-director of the Headache Center of California. He is also Medical Director of the Stroke Program at Tri-City Medical Center.

He has been using Botox therapeutically since 1989 for numerous therapeutic purposes including migraine headache, movement disorders, spasticity, hyperhidrosis, and numerous pain conditions.

Jack Schim, MD is a board-certified neurologist providing care to patients in the San Diego area at the Neurology Center of Southern California.

He is a Voluntary Assistant Clinical Professor in the Neuroscience Department at University of California San Diego.

Dr. Schim has been a clinical investigator in multiple clinical trials including pain, movement disorders, chronic headache, stroke and spasticity, amongst others.

Dr. Schim grew up in Miami, Florida, and attended the University of Miami and then earned a MFA in Ceramics and Photography. He then received his medical degree (MD) and from University of California San Diego (UCSD) Medical School and completed his neurology residency at UCSD.
