Katherine Evans, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist who has been with Pennsylvania Dermatology Group since 2012.
Dr. Evans has published many articles in peer-reviewed medical journals including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and JAMA Dermatology. She lives in Center City Philadelphia with her husband, 2 young daughters and their dachshund. Although raised in New Jersey, she has lived in Philadelphia since the beginning of college and now considers herself a true Philadelphian. When not caring for patients, she enjoys walking in the Wissahickon, trying new recipes, and relaxing with her family.

Dr. Evans completed her undergraduate study at the University of Pennsylvania and received her M.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Medicine in 2007, where she graduated with honors and received many academic distinctions, including election into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Following a one-year Internal Medicine Internship at Pennsylvania Hospital, she completed her Dermatology residency at the University of Pennsylvania, immediately after which she obtained her board certification from the American Board of Dermatology. During her residency, Dr. Evans served as a Medical Student Educator, training medical students and future doctors in dermatology. She gained additional clinical training during a yearlong fellowship focusing on skin cancer diagnosis and treatment and enjoys practicing general, adult, and pediatric dermatology.
