Dr. DeNiro earned a bachelor degree in biology and neuroscience from The State University of New York at Stony Brook (SUNY) and then received her medical degree from  Georgetown University School of Medicine in 2010.

Dr. DeNiro completed her medical internship and neurologist residency at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY. She then completed a Fellowship in Vascular Neurology.
