About Dr. Michael Sheehan, MD

Michael P. Sheehan, MD, FAAD graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine in 2007 and completed his Residency in Dermatology in 2011. He was awarded the top graduating resident award for outstanding performance. He has developed national expertise in the area of contact dermatitis and was recently elected to serve as the Vice-President of the American Contact Dermatitis Society. Dr. Sheehan serves as the director of the Patch Testing and Contact Dermatitis Clinic in Columbus, Indiana. He is a national thought leader in contact dermatitis and has authored numerous papers and chapters on this subject in conjunction with being a national speaker and holding positions as gratis faculty in the department of dermatology at Indiana University School of Medicine, clinical faculty at Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, and clinical faculty Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine Clinical Faculty. He also serves in an advisory position on the Dermatitis editorial board.
 

Dr. Sheehan is Board Certified in Dermatology and has memberships in the American Contact Dermatitis Society, American Academy of Dermatology, Indiana State Dermatological Association, Indiana State Medical Association, Bartholomew/Brown County Medical Society, and the American Medical Association.
