Dr. Sandra Zila-Eivins, MD

Dr Sandi Eivins MD, board certified dermatologist, has been The Yampa Valleys source of good skin health for over 18 years.  Dr. Eivins graduated at the University of Iowa College of medicine with high honors. She has a double board certified education in pediatrics and dermatology. She was chosen by the department above her peers to serve as the distinguished chief resident in the department of pediatrics and again in the department of dermatology. Her unique training with a primary care background, she was offered many positions in Academic institutions. However, she chose the beautiful yampa valley to raise her two beautiful daughters and pursue her career.  During her practice in the Steamboat Springs valley, she has learned the needs of the community. She started the first and only MOHs center for the treatment of skin cancer in Routt, Moffat, and Grand county. She has treated over 20,000 skin cancers since she started her practice.  Colorado’s sunny, dry climate can be damaging to our skin. Dr. Eivins has personally selected every cosmetic device in Aesthetica medical spa to improve the appearance and health of our stressed mountain skin.  The lasers and devices are chosen based on scientific principle, efficacy, safety  and the unique needs of our mountain climate. She has personally used every device in the office to maintain her skin. Dr. Eivins has become the premier cosmetic injector for Botox and numerous fillers in the yampa valley. She is the only provider to receive platinum level of skill from Allergan cosmetic in the tri county area. Because of her skills she was chosen to inject in Galdermas advanced injector session and Allergans cosmetic training session for Kybella.
