Carlos Moreno is a Certified Physician Assistant who has practiced in the allergy field since 2003. Since joining the Center for Allergy and Asthma of Georgia in 2012, Carlos has provided exceptional care to patients at our Smyrna/Vinings, Hiram, and Douglasville offices.

Moreno is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (AAAAI), Food Allergy Research and Education (FARE), Florida Academy of Physician Assistants (FAPA), and the Georgia Academy of Physicians Assistants (CAPA). Carlos speaks English and Spanish.

Education & Training

Carlos obtained his Physician Assistant degree from Miami Dade College and his NCCPA board accreditation in 2003. He obtained NCCPA (National Commission on Certification on Physician Assistants) recertification in 2009 and 2014. His clinical rotations and training were completed at Jackson Memorial Hospital, VA Hospital and several community health clinics in Miami.

Prior to becoming a physician assistance, Carlos earned his Bachelor’s degree in nursing and practiced as an Emergency Room registered nurse.
