Education & Training

After completing undergraduate college at Saint Louis University with a degree in Biology, Dr. Micka obtained his MD at St. Louis University School of Medicine in 2003. He then completed 3 years of residency training in Internal Medicine at Barnes Hospital / Washington University School of Medicine. He worked as a hospitalist for one year at Barnes Hospital before beginning a two year fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Washington University School of Medicine in 2007. 

Dr. Micka completed his fellowship training in June of 2009. After completing fellowship training, Dr. Micka joined Ferrell-Duncan Clinic and moved with his family from Saint Louis to Nixa, Missouri.

Ferrell Duncan Clinic Allergy and Immunology

Ferrell-Duncan Clinic-- Allergy/Immunology is a clinic located within a multisubspecialty clinic of over 100 private physicians in Springfield, Missouri.  Together, we see patients throughout the Southwest Missouri/Northwest Arkansas corridor.  Currently, we have three allergists/immunologists and one nurse practitioner who see patients of all ages, from infancy through adulthood.  For the convenience of our patients, we operate out of two clinic sites, one in Springfield, MO and one in Branson, MO on Wednesdays. We hope you will find this website useful in getting to know us and how we can help you manage allergies, asthma, and immunodeficiencies as well as other allergy-related diseases.
