With a background in law, Dr. Williams began his education at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, receiving his bachelor’s degree in commerce and business administration. Later, earning his juris doctorate from Birmingham School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama, Dr. Williams practiced as an attorney of criminal and corporate law. After this, Dr. Williams worked as an investment executive for a time. However, upon discovering his passion for health care, he went on to pursue his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama.
After achieving his medical degree, Dr. Williams completed his residency in family medicine at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina. During this time, he also served in the prompt care unit at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, providing care for approximately 100 patients daily.
