Dr. Blackwell was born and raised in Indianapolis and graduated high school locally from Broad Ripple High School. He completed his undergraduate work at Loyola University, Chicago IL and then attended Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Blackwell continued his training at the Indiana University School of Medicine Family Practice Residency program at Methodist Hospital.
