Medical Expertise of Dr. David Greeley, MD, FAAN

Dr. Greeley practices general adult neurology and is very active in the research and development of new technologies. He was the first neurologist to use Botox® and offer Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) in the state of Washington. He is also offering  Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) as an FDA-approved treatment for depression to patients in Spokane. Over 18,000 patients have been treated with 50% of patients improving significantly following treatment.

David Greeley, MD is a board-certified Spokane neurologist providing care to patients at Northwest Neurological.

Dr. Greeley is proud to sit on the board of the Clinical TMS Society (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation).
 
Dr. Greeley is involved in education and training of Medical Students as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Neurology at the UW and also holds an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor in Pharmacy position at WSU.

Dr. Greeley is a member of the International Dystonia Study Group, the National Parkinson's Study Group and a Fellow in the American Academy of Neurology.

Education & Training

Dr. Greeley was born and raised in Seattle, Washington, and graduated from the University of Washington in 1985 with a Bachelor's degree in Music Theory and History. He went on to the University of Washington School of Medicine graduating in 1989. After medical school he spent the next four years completing his internship and residency in Neurology at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinic system in Madison, Wisconsin with an added post-residency position as Honorary Assistant House Physician at the prestigious National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in London, England, where he gained added qualifications in the care of patients with movement disorders.
