Dr. McLaughlin is a past President of the Volusia/Flagler Easter Seal Society and for many years was Medical Director for the Easter Seals. Dr. McLaughlin is an expert in all facets of allergy and his special areas of interest are asthma and sinus disease.

Dr. McLaughlin graduated from Mainland High School in Daytona Beach. He obtained a BS degree from the University of Florida where he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He did postgraduate residency and fellowship training at Shands Teaching Hospital. He was on the teaching faculty at Keesler AFB Teaching Hospital in Biloxi, Mississippi during his tour of duty with the USAF.
