Dr. John J. Costa is a board-certified allergist and Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology providing care to patients with allergic conditions in the South Shore area of Massachusetts.

About Dr. John Costa, MD, FAAAAI

Dr. Costa also serves as Medical Director of the Allergy and Clinical Immunology Practice of the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School.

He has been an invited lecturer at local, regional and national meetings and educational courses, and a consultant to the biotechnical industry. He has published peer-reviewed original scientific research articles on the molecular/cellular biology of the allergic inflammatory response, as well as invited reviews.

Education & Training

Dr. Costa graduated from Harvard College and the Mount Sinai Medical School in New York City. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the Boston University Medical Center and sub-specialty training in Allergy/Immunology at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.
