Dr. Culligan is a  Diplomate of theAmerican Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) in Neurology and Vascular Neurology, and Diplomate of the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine.

Dr. Culligan serves as Presiden of the Hospital medical staff and Chief of Neurology at Danbury Hospital where he also serves as Medical Director of the Stroke Center (JCAHO and State of CT certified)

He is also  Clinical Assistant Professor at New York Medical College and the University of Vermont College of Medicine.
