A New York native, Dr. Liu attended SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York where he graduated with honors as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at the Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He then completed his training in Dermatology at the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan and served as Chief Resident in the Department of Dermatology. After finishing Dermatology residency, Dr. Liu completed training in an American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS) and ACGME approved fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Procedural Dermatology at Cooper University Hospital.


Dr. Liu has authored numerous articles in prominent medical journals and lectured at several annual Dermatology and dermatologic surgery symposiums. Dr. Liu is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a member of the American College of Mohs Surgery.
