About Dr. Benjamin Lockshin, MD

Dr. Ben Lockshin was graduated with honors from Brandeis University with a bachelor’s degree in fine arts and sculpture. He earned his medical degree from Georgetown University in 2001. In 2005, Dr. Lockshin completed his residency at Indiana University. Following his residency, he taught at Case Western University. In 2006, he returned to the Washington, DC area to work with his father in Silver Spring, MD. In addition, Dr. Lockshin is currently a clinical instructor at Johns Hopkins University. He is a board certified dermatologist and a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons. Dr. Lockshin’s practice is a balance of general dermatology, MOHS surgery, and general surgical dermatology.

POSTOP INSTRUCTIONS – OPEN WOUNDS   WOUND CARE Your wound will be covered with a bulky bandage called a pressure dressing. This should be left in place and kept dry for 24 hours.
