Dr. Achtman received his medical degree in 1983 from the respected McMaster University in Toronto and then went on to complete a medical internship and residency with Wellesley Hospital. He also studied at the UTSW (University of Texas Southwestern) Medical Center in Dallas, Texas where he served as Chief Resident in the Department of Dermatology.
