About Dr. Debra Abell, MD

An actively engaged member of both the Pittsburgh and New York City film and art communities, Dr. Abell is a founding board member of the non-profit organization Arts Crossing. She is the president and CEO of Tanner Film and Art, a company that provides financing of emerging artists in film, theater, and the visual arts.

She has a strong interest in genealogy. She serves on the board of trustees of The New York Genealogical and Biographical Society and is also on the national advisory board of The Hutchins Center at Harvard University.
