About Dr. Doyle Hansen, MD

As a Nebraska native, Dr. Doyle D. Hansen attended the University of Nebraska Medical School in Omaha. He is Board Certified in Dermatology, by the American Board of Dermatology, and in Dermatopathology by the American Board of Pathology.

Additionally, he serves as a consultant to the Pathology Department at Kaiser Hospital in San Diego; and he also served as Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Dermatology, at the University of California, San Diego for 25 years. He served as interim head of the dermatopath section for 2 years.

Dr. Hansen served in the United States Navy for eight years on active duty. After service in the Navy, he entered practice with Dr. Thoene at East County Dermatology Medical Group in 1982.

At 63 years old, Dr. Hansen and has been in private practice with Dr. Michael J. Thoene in El Cajon for the past 31 years. Dr, Hansen has recently moved into a new suite of offices at 1679 East Main Street, #208.
