Dr. Santa graduated from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, with a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience. She spent two years performing genomic research at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, before attending Jefferson Medical College (now Sidney Kimmel Medical College) in Philadelphia for medical school. She then completed her residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia and was chief resident during her final year. Dr. Santa keeps her skills and knowledge sharp through professional memberships.
