Dr. Flaugher, originally from Summerville, SC, attended Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, IL, where he received a B.A. in Biology. He then worked for two years as a high school math and science teacher at Cornerstone Christian Academy, before attending Chicago Medical School. Upon finishing medical school, Dr. Flaugher moved back to the Lowcountry to complete his Family Medicine residency at the Medical University of South Carolina.
