Medical Expertise of Dr. K. Deepa Verma, MD

Dr. K. Deepa Verma is a board-certified Houston allergist providing care to patients for a wide range of allergic and immunologic conditions.

Dr. Verma specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of allergic conditions, including nasal and ocular allergies, asthma, and skin conditions such as eczema and hives. She also evaluates and treats food and insect allergies. 

Dr. Verma truly enjoys treating both children and adults and loves spending time educating her patients about how to best address their asthma and allergy conditions. In Dr. Verma’s opinion, the best care is provided by working with patients and their families to find optimal ways to treat her patients so that they can enjoy an improved quality of life.

Dr. Verma joined Allergy & ENT Associates in August, 2012. She is a Diplomate of both the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and the American Board of Internal Medicine. She also holds memberships in both local and national medical societies.

Education & Training

Dr. Verma graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences and a Doctorate in Medicine. She completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis, MO, followed by her fellowship training in Allergy/Immunology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX.
