Dr. Behr obtained her medical degree in 1990 and completed a residency in dermatology at the University of California, Los Angeles in 1995. Dr. Behr then completed fellowships in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cosmetic surgery at UCLA. She continued on at UCLA as an assistant clinical professor until 2001 when she moved to Fresno.
Dr. Behr has received several honors and awards. She was chief resident her last year of residency. She received the Victor Newcomer award for teaching while at UCLA.
