Dr. Hamilton received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Wellesley College in Massachusetts where she graduated with distinction (cum laude). She completed medical school at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, an Internal Medicine residency at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire, and a Rheumatology Fellowship at Duke University in North Carolina.
