Dr. Mahoney has received specialty training in pediatric dermatology with Dr. Judith Williams, a respected clinician, and researcher in the field of pediatric dermatology.

Dr. Mahoney worked closely with Dr. David Pariser, President of the American Academy of Dermatology, who is a leading clinical researcher in psoriasis therapies and hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).

​​​​​​​Dr. Mahoney has also trained under Dr. Antoinette Hood, a well-known dermatopathologist and clinician who also specializes in vulvar disorders.
