About Dr. Pramod Kelkar, MD

Dr. Kelkar completed his Allergy-Clinical Immunology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic and practiced for three years in Indianapolis before joining Allergy and Asthma Care in 2004.  He was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at both Mayo Clinic and Indiana University School of Medicine.  With special expertise in coughing disorders. (He currently serves as Chair of the Cough Task Force of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.)  He has served as Chair of the Fellows-in-Training section of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunologyl, and is currently Co-Chair of the Metro Asthma Coalition.  Dr. Kelkar has presented lectures and workshops nationally and internationally, on a variety of topics.  Dr. Kelkar is married and his hobbies include tennis, hiking and traveling.
