Dr. Homer is a pediatrician providing care to infants, children and adolescents.

About Dr. Ronald Homer, MD

Ronald Homer, MD is a board-certified pediatrician caring for patients in the DeKalb and Gwinnett County areas at DeKalb Pediatric Associates.

In 2001, Dr. Homer returned to the Atlanta area and joined a private pediatric practice in Norcross, until he became an employee of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) in July of 2002 working in their primary care center in downtown Decatur, as well as their immediate care center in Stockbridge for more than 3 years. While working at CHOA, Dr. Homer realized that in a private practice setting he would be better able to efficiently meet the needs of his patients and their families. Thus, Dekalb Pediatric Associates, P.C. (DPA) was formed, where patients can be cared for in a thorough, well-organized and professional manner. DPA was created to meet the needs of working parents, as well as parents of sick children who require time sensitive appointments. Dr. Homer prides himself on the close relationships he has developed with his patients and their parents. It is through these relationships that Dr. Homer is able to personally help parents raise happy, well-adjusted, productive and healthy children.

Dr. Homer is an Assistant Clinical Professor for community pediatrics for Emory University School of Medicine and he works extensively with medical students and residents from Emory and the Morehouse School of Medicine.
