Dr. Meads graduated from Ouachita Baptist University with a BS degree in chemistry and biology. She received her medical degree from the University of Arkansas with distinction as a summa cum laude graduate and member of the AOA honor medical society.

Following the completion of a dermatology residency program at the University of Florida, she finished a procedural dermatology fellowship at Scripps Clinic and joined U.S. Dermatology Partners in 2005.
