About Dr. Shawn Allen, MD

Dr. Shawn Allen is a dermatologist providing medical care to patients in the Boulder, Colorado area.  Dr. Allen is a board-certified dermatologist and is one of a handful of dermatologists fellowship-trained in Mohs surgery and cosmetic dermatology in the state of Colorado. Dr. Allen completed his dermatology residency training at Washington University in St. Louis, and then completed an additional certified fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery, dermatologic surgery, cosmetic surgery and cosmetic dermatology. He is the Director and Founder of Dermatology Specialists of Boulder PC, and is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Colorado.  Dr. Allen also donates his time to perform over 200 free skin cancer screenings annually.
