About Dr. Theodore Alkousakis, MD

Theodore Alkousakis, MD is a board-certified dermatologist providing care to patients in the Denver area at the Colorado Center for Dermatology & Skin Surgery.

Dr. Alkousakis was in private practice in Colorado for over 3 years before joining the Department of Dermatology at the University of Colorado in 2012.

Dr. Alkousakis has worked on online teaching aids for medical students and has had an interest in telemedicine since residency, when he saw patients drive for hours to receive their care.

While still a resident he presented at national meetings and reviewed articles for publication. Dr. A is an online editor for the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology.  He is fluent in Greek, can converse with patients in Russian and knows medical Spanish. 

Dr. Alkousakis created Derm E Consult to combine his interests in patient education and providing reliable resources about dermatology subjects.
