About Dr. Timothy Knight, MD
Timothy E. Knight, MD has practiced dermatology for more than 30 years. He was Board-Certified in 1980 and voluntarily Re-certified in 2003 by the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Knight earned his Medical Degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He completed his Internship in Internal Medicine at the Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. He completed his Dermatology Residency at the University of Maryland Hospitals in Baltimore. Dr. Knight’s numerous research studies are published in peer-reviewed journals, and he has presented nationally. He previously served as an Assistant Professor at several medical schools. Currently he is an adjunct professor with Nova Northeastern University and provides dermatology training for physician assistant students in his clinic.
In addition to a Medical Degree, Dr. Knight earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. He has received many academic honors in the veterinary field, including the Clinic Volunteer of the Year Award from the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty of Animals in 2003 and 2007.
