About Dr. Tracey Pinkston, J.D., MD

Tracey E. Pinkston, JD, MD holds doctorates in both law and medicine.  Additionally, she is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.  She graduated from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine and continued on with Internship and Residencies in Internal Medicine and Primary Care at the same institution.  She was an honors student there, participating in a unique program which allowed her to begin Internship following only 3 years of medical school.  She has worked for several brances of uniformed services, including Army, Navy, and Air Force and has won numerous awards for her governmental service.  Dr. Pinkston has additional training as a scuba diving instructor and a Diving Medical Officer, including training for operation of hyperbaric chambers.  Dr, Pinkston has a natural focus to her practice, preferring lifestyle interventions and nutritional supplements over pharmaceutic medications whenever possible.  She also integrates alternative medicine practices as needed.  Her professional affiliations include the American College of Physicians, the American Academy for the Advancement of Medicine, and the American Academy of Environmental Medicine.
