Dr. Yonan grew up in Phoenix and he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Arizona. He attended medical school at Penn State University and completed his residency at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona and also held the title of Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine Phoenix.
