Tips & Wisdom

Sunscreen Selection Tips
For children, stick with the zinc and titanium sunscreens as they are more gentle.Sunscreens with an SPF above 50 are probably not helpful since the correct application of a sunscreen with SPF 30 would protect most people all day.Visit Dr. Pace's webste at Pace Dermatology Associates
Dysport Treatment for Wrinkles
Dysport® is a great alternative to Botox. It works by a slightly different mechanism so it is great for people who have not had success with Botox®.The manufacturer offers some rebates and it can be slightly cheaper. Results tend to appear slightly faster than Botox® and last about the same amount of time.Visit Dr. Pace's webste at Pace Dermatology Associates
Stelara for the Treatment of Psoriasis
Stelara® is useful for patients that have tried other biologics and failed. It also requires less injections and may be better for people who cannot treat themselves since they are given in the physician's office.Visit Dr. Pace's webste at Pace Dermatology Associates
