An author of over thirty medical journal articles and book chapters, Dr. Dwan has given numerous presentations at national dermatology and dermatologic surgery meetings and has taught medical students and residents at the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Maryland, Wake Forest University, and Cooper University Hospital.

Dr. Dawn graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University and received his medical degree from the Duke University School of Medicine. He completed his dermatology training at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by a fellowship in Mohs surgery and dermatologic surgery in Philadelphia.
