Education & Training
Dr. Anthony Wong was born in New York and raised on Long Island. He completed his undergraduate studies at Cornell University and was awarded the title of Cornell National Scholar. After finishing his undergraduate education, he received his Masters degree in Human Nutrition at Columbia University and did extensive research on the effects of ultraviolet light on skin cells.
Dr. Anthony Wong attended the State University of New York Downstate School of Medicine where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and served as president of the elite Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He then completed his multi-disciplined transitional internship at St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical center in Manhattan and returned to The State University of New York Downstate School of Medicine to complete his dermatology residency and served as chief resident.
Dr. Wong continued to pursue his interest in a surgical subspecialty of Dermatology called Mohs Micrographic Surgery by completing a Procedural Dermatology Fellowship through The State University of New York Downstate School of Medicine.
