Dr. Barry Resnik, MD

Barry I. Resnik, MD is the Medical Director of the Resnik Skin Institute in Aventura, Florida. He graduated from Tulane University School of Medicine in 1990 and completed his residency in Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the University of Miami School of Medicine in 1994. Dr. Resnik is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of both the American Academy of Dermatology and American Society of Dermatologic Surgery.

He has practiced in South Florida since 1994. He is a Voluntary Clinical Professor at the University of Miami School of Medicine Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery, where he teaches in the Residency program. Dr. Resnik is a volunteer staff physician at both the Open Door Health Center in Homestead, FL, where he provides dermatologic care for low-income families, and Here's Help, a half-way house for at-risk teens, where he does tattoo removal. He is the Team Dermatologist for the World Champion MLB Miami Marlins.

Dr. Resnik has special interests in Psoriasis, Vitiligo, Acne, Hyperhidrosis and Hidradenitis Suppurativa. He offers multiple one-of-a-kind therapies for these difficult diseases.
