Bruce Bennin, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist who has practiced on the North Shore since 1976. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology, as well as a member of the Chicago Dermatological Society, the Great Lakes Dermatologic Society, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Society of Dermatopatholgy.

Education & Training

Dr. Bennin grew up in Chicago, completed his undergraduate degree at Bradley University, and received his medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University in 1970. He completed a one-year internal medicine residency at Michael Reese Hospital in 1971 and a dermatology residency at Cook County Hospital in 1976. He was in private practice in Deerfield until becoming a founding partner of Dermatology Partners of the North Shore in 1999.

Dr. Bennin is an associate attending physician at NorthShore University Health System, Assistant Clinical Professor at Rush Medical Center, Adjunct Professor at Northwestern University, and consultant at Cook County Hospital.
