Charity Foster McConnell, MD is a board-certified dermatologist providing care to patients in the Nashville area at Frankline Dermatology which she joined in 2001.
A native Tennessean, Dr. McConnell grew up in Lexington, a small town in western Tennessee.
Dr. McConnell is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD). She also enjoys being a member in several medical and professional organizations, including the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Nashville Dermatology Society, Tennessee Women in Medicine, the American Medical Association, and the Tennessee Medical Association.

As an undergraduate, she attended Vanderbilt University, graduating in 1992 with a B.S. in Molecular Biology.
She attended medical school at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, graduating third in her class in 1996, and was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. McConnell was an internal medicine resident at Vanderbilt University Medical Center for two years from 1996-1998, at which point she realized that her true “calling” was dermatology.
She then completed her residency training at Wake Forest University School of Medicine (Bowman Gray Campus) from 1998-2001.
