Dr. Kraffert started his career in biomedical research at Scripps Institute and studied medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He then completed a surgical internshiop at UCLA Medical Center before completin his dermatology residency training at the University of Miami in Florida, one of the most sought-after and acknowledged dermatology training programs in the country.
