Dr. Daniel Hurd, DO is a board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon providing care to patients in the New River Valley area of Virginia at New River Dermatology and New River Aesthetics where he serves as President and CEO of the practice.
Dr. Hurd also serves as Associate Clinical Professor at the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Assistant Clinical Professor at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and Assistant Clinical Professor at the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Daniel Hurd is the Past President of the West Virginia Dermatology Society and is currently the Dermatology Program Director and Discipline Chair for the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Hurd has authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific articles and gives lectures to other medical professionals regionally and nationally.

Dr. Hurd received his undergraduate degree from Marshall University and his medical degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine where he graduated with high honors. He then completed his internship in Internal Medicine and his Residency in Dermatology at Ohio University.
